I bought the blue one and it brings back memories of my grandma's spread. Altho I purchased it for a queen I chose to buy a king spread based on what others said about it being smaller but alas it is too wide (about 7 inches) though perfect in length. I susppose it all depends on how high your bed sits. This will give me leeway if I get a new bed or if the spread shrinks when washed. <br />It is very light in weight so perfect for summer or if you are not looking for added warmth. <br />The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that the threads catch quite easily and pull, as it is everything it says. It was still too short to adequately cover the pillows and way too long for the sides. The pattern whcih looks very distinct in the picture is really very unremarkable in reality.
